Nanophotonics and Energy Lab

Lab responsibles:
Manuel João Mendes (ext. 62117) and António Vicente

Description:
The lab 2.1.18 in CEMOP (Uninova 2) is assigned for opto-electronic measurements, mainly dedicated to the testing of Energy-related technologies, such as for power harvesting (e.g. solar cells, photocatalysis) and storage (e.g. batteries, supercapacitors).

The lab contains a Dark Room, chiefly allocated to the characterization of photovoltaic devices, which is equipped with solar simulators, spectral response (i.e. quantum efficiency) systems, carrier lifetime testers, as well as installed air extraction, air conditioning and compressed air flow.
