SHORT CV
Adriana Gonçalves received her Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, in 2019. In the same year, she enrolled as a research fellow in the Soft and Biofunctional Materials Group at CENIMAT|i3N inserted in the project DREaMM (PTDC/CTM-CTM/30623/2017). In 2022, she started her PhD scholarship, and her current research focuses on the synthesis of thermoresponsive polymers and their processing through electrospinning for localized drug release. Her research is also centered on the use of iron oxide nanoparticles for cancer treatment, through magnetic hyperthermia.
