SHORT CV

Catarina Cidade do Carmo completed her Integrated Master's Degree in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering from NOVA FCT in 2022. In January 2023, Catarina began her work as a research fellow under the "INSOLENSYS - Integrated Solar System Energy" program in DCM. Currently, she is a PhD student in Nanotechnology and Nanosciences, and is also a member of the MEON research group at CENIMAT|i3N.

Furthermore, Catarina successfully balances her academic pursuits with high-level athletics, and her achievements have been consistently recognized by NOVA through annual sports merit scholarship. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she was honoured with the prestigious Young Talent Award by the Câmara Municipal de Almada in 2023.
